After our audience research we decided to do a little bit of research into our chosen band before going any further. Seafret are a British music duo consisting of two friends from Bridlington. There genre is indie and there music is very roar and from the heart. The main singer of the band is Jack  Sedman and his fellow member who plays the guitar is Harry Draper. They are a very small time band; they haven't released a great deal of music but there album ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ was released on January 29th 2016 and managed to peak at an impressive No. 59 in the UK album chart.They are big enough to be able to go on tour in Europe and Asia; playing Istanbul in march this year and also playing in Moscow. Their record label is American’s global giant Columbia Records. Columbia records has a parent company of Sony Music therefore they have a great deal of money and power within the industry; being part of this record label means that Seafret have to popular both in the UK and the USA. On youtube they have a massive 211 thousands subscribers on there channel and they have managed to get there music onto global platform apps like Spotify.
