After all doing our digipak analysis it was time to start thinking about constructing our own digipak for our song. Digipak's are what the disk comes in; normally made of 6 pannel. They are normally used for special addition disks and became popular in the early 2000s. The front pannel needs to be eye catching, on indie band front covers the picture/ image varies from pictures of the bands to contemporary images. The front covers do normally give some indication of what the song/band are about and what kind of genre music they are. It's very conventional for all digipak though to have the name of the album or band on the front cover; this attracts the audience. The back covers are much more simple then the front cover; normally containing a listing of tracks and maybe something about the production company. Sometimes it's accompanied by a small image or some sort of synergy with the the rest of the digipak; this may be through an image or through colour schemes.

We decided to take ourselves off to the ICT room on 9th January 2017. I brought in all my coloured pens and pencils so we had some resources; I also printed out some templates for the different panels of the digipak. Below is us creating our own separate digipaks; we decided not to talk to each other and just do what we thought was best, therefore not transferring ideas.

This is our 4 final designs, from here we sat around together and made a survey which would be directed at our target audience.
